The History of RZN Nutraceuticals Products

RZN Nutraceuticals, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Mark Lubin, a 25-year veteran biomedical engineer and research scientist in the fields of orthopedics, joint diseases, implantable cardiac devices, materials science, and medical chemistry. He holds over a dozen United States Patents in these fields...and he has arthritis.

Over the years he tried most of the traditional pharmaceutical remedies for arthritis pain including aspirin, ibuprofen, Voltaren, Celebrex, Vioxx, Remicade, and others. Some of these drugs sort of worked for a while, but they never really got rid of his pain, and they all gave him lots of adverse side effects that he had to deal with by taking even more drugs. These side effects included stomach and intestinal bleeding and ulcers, bloating, elevated blood pressure, and liver problems among others

. He wound up taking diuretics, blood pressure medications, blood thinners, and then other drugs to prevent adverse interactions between the side-effect drugs - and they were expensive. He also tried glucosamine and chondroitin supplements, but because of his pain he could never really tell if any tissue repair was happening.

Because his father had become a self-taught naturopath and herbalist for his own health issues, Mark's exposure to this realm of alternative therapies led him to start looking for herbal remedies that were historically used to treat these types of symptoms.
